Methodology
Introduction
Additional research is required to analyze how the change of behavior can be handled scientifically to ensure a smooth transition among teens. This study investigates what hormone exposure is and how it affects adolescents, which gender is mainly influenced by hormone exposure, and the age group that is affected by hormone exposure (Batista et al., 2019). This section paper aims to present the methods, including participants, materials, procedures, and design that will be used to conduct the study.
Participants
In this section, I need a sample size of 60 teenagers. In this sample, 30 of them will be girls between the age of 12 years and 17 years old. Have six girls for each age and five boys at each age. The total number of boys will be 30, who range between the age of 10 years and 18 years old. In this case, the race and religion of the sample are not a point of concern. The population height and size is also a not crucial factor. Age is essential, and therefore, the level of education is not a key consideration (Berenbaum., 2018)

Procedure
Divide the sample population in terms of gender, i.e., girls and boys. Arrange the boys in terms of age ranging from the youngest to the oldest (in groups of five depending on the age of an individual). Next, arrange the girls in groups of six, starting from the group that has the youngest participants up to the oldest participants. Administer the questionnaires to all the participants within the groups formed. Make a table with two columns (for boys and girls) and rows with age groups for both girls and boys. Fill in the answers and responses to both the written and oral questionnaires. Store the statistical data collected in a computer system for future reference. Drawbar graphs and pie charts (on the accuracy of results obtained in percentage) for the data collected in different age groups and store them in a file. This should be done for both girls and boys. Analyze the data to make conclusions (Berenbaum., 2018).
Design
The methodology for this study will be carried out in two phases. In the first phase, the sample population where the study will be conducted will be identified. The sampling technique will be used to randomly select participants from the whole population involved in the study. The participants need to know that taking part in the survey is voluntary and that the data collected will only be for this study. Descriptive research will be adopted in this study (Rahi., 2017). Data will be collected using oral and written interviews. In written interviews, questionnaires will be administered to the participants. After filling out the questionnaires, they will be collected, and qualitative data will be analyzed to obtain the quantitative data.
Conclusion
This research is meant to investigate how hormone exposure affects the gender identity of an individual. The research was conducted through interviews and oral methods. The response to the questions was moderate, and some participants failed to respond as required. From the analysis of the results obtained, it is clear that boys are more affected by hormone exposure than girls. It is also inconclusive that a change of gender identity affects an individual’s behavior (Brenbaum., 2018). Girls and boys undergo different changes related to how they respond to hormone exposure. Some feel sexually attracted to the opposite sex or even change their normal behavior due to the characteristic changes that occur in their body.
