Therefore, the safety and quality measures had to conform to these organizational standards. National factors state that every healthcare organization has the duty of guaranteeing safe and quality care to the patients. This can be attained by reducing errors and other adverse effects on the patients. Therefore, the safety and quality dashboards were designed to guarantee these standards. Lastly, regulatory bodies like the American Nursing Association establish measures that facilities need to promote quality care. Some of the steps include demonstrating evidence-based approaches in improving the quality of care (Austin et al., 2017). The safety and quality measures identified in the dashboard are geared towards achieving these industry standards. 

What to Learn

There is a significant insight that I expect to gain from the identified safety and quality measures. For instance, it will be essential to evaluate the set organizational measures against industry standards. A key question to ask is how the organization is set to achieve the specified performance measures. Other key aspects to note include the surgical site infection rates, the readmission rates for different health conditions, and safety and quality indicators of the organization against the industry standards.
