- Remember this is a report, not an essay, of 2000 words (+/- 10%). This means using the headings below in the order given and including key points under each heading:
- Introduction – set out briefly the objectives of report (one paragraph and in 3rd person)
- Definitions of Health (1.1)
- World Health Organisation’s (WHO) definition of health and/or other definitions from different sources to illustrate that health is elusive to define.
- Models of Health (1.2)
- Compare any two of the following models: bio-medical, social, bio-psycho-social, holistic, wellness.
- Analyse and evaluate the relative merits and limitations of the two models you have chosen.
- Global Health and International Health (1.3)
- Your definition of global health must include a discussion of two of the following measures: infant mortality rate, morbidity rate, life expectancy, disability-adjusted life years, quality-adjusted life years.
- Your definition of international health must include a description and brief evaluation of the role of one agency of your choice, such as the role of UNICEF, World Vision, Oxfam and other development and relief agencies.

- Avoiding or Mitigating Risk Factors (2.3)
- Explain any three of the following ways of avoiding or mitigating factors by selecting three of the four risk factors you discussed earlier: smoking cessation, modified alcohol consumption in line with current guidelines, healthy diet, exercise programme as per current recommendations; maintaining weight control, regular BP checks and medication compliance where prescribed, maintaining blood lipids and glucose within normal parameters.

- Compare two theories of the following theories: subjectivism, objectivism, eudemonic well-being with a consideration of their different tenets and philosophical standpoints.
- Enhancing Physical Well-Being (3.2)
- Consider recent evidence on the relationship between different types of exercise, OR on the relationship between diet and/or dietary supplements on well-being.
- Enhancing Psychological Well-Being (3.2)
